- Students will be working with the basic clay techniques of pinch, coil and slab pots. The finished pottery will be fired in a kiln so the students will be able to glaze their projects. Lead free glazes will be used allowing eating or drinking from their clay projects. All project materials will be included in the cost of the class.
- The cost of the class is $95 for all 4 nights including materials.

Stabile Class May 17 6-8pm Ages 15 and up

- Students will design a stable sculpture that will be constructed out of metal. Students will learn how to design a stabile sculpture and transfer their design to metal and wood. A stabile sculpture is different from a mobile in that it is suspended and the stabile sculpture rest on the ground. A stabile will still be able to turn similar to a mobile.

Clay Relief June 22, 28 6-8pm Ages 15 and up

Beginning Clay Class Ages 15 up September 6, 13, 20, 27 6-8pm
- Students will design a relief sculpture that will be sculpted from clay. Students will learn how todesign a relief sculpture and transfer their design to clay. Different techniques will be demonstrated for the students to use wihen making their clay relief. Since molds will not be used with this project students will be able use low or high relief methods for their finished project. After their projects are fired in the kiln they will have the option to paint or glaze their finished relief sculpture.

Clay Angel Ages 15 and up November 8 6 -8 pm

Clay Angel Ages 15 and up November 8 6 -8 pm
- Art Students will design and construct a clay Christmas Angel. Using the slab technique the students will construct their clay angel from their design. The clay angels will be fired in a kiln and the students will have the opertunity to paint or glaze their Christmas Angel.. The Christmas angels could be used with a candle or as decoration.
